It's beginning to look....

....a lot like Christmas in our neck o' the woods! I started doing gingerbread houses with my brother's oldest daughter, Ella, when she was 4 years old ---- can't believe how much she's grown and the two other munchkins who've come along in the years since. Love these kiddos to the moon and back! They sure do brighten this auntie's day...

Thankful for family. Thankful for friends. Thankful for memories. Thankful for peace and joy. Thankful for Christ. To us, that is what this season is about! It doesn't hurt that we like to have fun, too!  {grin}

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

"Then the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" Luke 2:10-14

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14

"Then Jesus cried out and said, 'He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.' " John 12:44-46

Looking to the Light!
